Our mission is in collaboration with industry achieve $2.01billion in overnight visitor expenditure in the Destination Sydney Surrounds South zone by 2022; this requires 5% year-on-year growth between 2017 and 2022.

The Destination Sydney Surrounds South (DSSS) zone encompasses 6 local government areas including; Kiama Shellharbour, Shoalhaven, Wingecarribee, Wollondilly and Wollongong. 11.3 million people visit the DSSS zone each year, these being a blend of domestic and international day and overnight visitors. In 2017 the value of the visitor economy in the DSSS region is estimated to be $2.28 Billion.
